ECONOMICAL POTENTIALS OF PALILULA PUBLISHED IN CATALOGUE

Catalogue of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs of Palilula Municipality is presented at the press conference held in Palilula Municipality in the presence of LEDIB programme Carsten Lund and programme coordinator Zarko Simovic.

According to the words of PhD Igor Novakovic, Palilula president, this publication appeared as a part of activity within the developmental project of Palilula Municipality, Serbian and Bulgarian businessmen and traders. `Establishing synergic dialogue between Serbian and Bulgarian / SME and professional organizations so that sustainable development could be established` was completed in the end of the last year with LEDIB support. In the Catalogue of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs of Palilula Municipality, prepared by our Project Team, 168 economical entities from 23 economical spheres were grouped and elaborated. This information – emphasized Novakovic, multiplied the possibilities of certain business arrangements and development of technical cooperation of the whole SMEEs sector that is active at the territory of Palilula Municipality with interested partners. LEDIB help for our Municipality is very valuable said Novakovic since it has provided the sustainability and other developmental projects in our community that is why I would like to express my gratitude to the Mr. Lund and programme management. Boban Mikic, member of the Municipal council and Municipal coordinator of LEDIB programme and Ljubisa Jakovljevic project coordinator, reminded the present that basic objective of the project was successfully realized-promotion of SMEE sector from Palilula territory and EU market and also establishing of business contacts and experience exchanging with potential partners abroad. Within the project the training of Palilula entrepreneurs with the theme `How to manage business at EU market` was organized as well as their participation at the International fair in Plovdiv –Bulgaria and part of these activities regarding SMEE potentials are also in this publication –Catalogue.

Danish LEDIB programme is dedicated to the support of local economic development of the Balkans and is focused on the development of SMEE sector. In accordance with bilateral agreement of Danish and Serbian governments, reminded Carsten Lund, director of LEDIB programme, as well as Strategy for reducing poverty of Serbia, we have realized our activities in all 12 local managment administrations of Nis adminstration district (Aleksinac, Doljevac, Merosina, Svrljig, Gadzin Han, Razanj) also in Nis city municipalities and the City of Nis.The cooperation with Palilula Municipality, according to the words od Mr. Lund, has been very successful since it deals with organization of local self government that showed the originality and quality in realization of project ideas and high level of professional organization of Administration.
